The Treatment
Secret RF Microneedling is a safe procedure performed in a one hour fifteen minute treatment session. You’ll feel gentle heating and mild pressure on the targeted area during the procedure. Most patients can tolerate these symptoms, but your provider will maximize your comfort with industry-leading techniques. We’ll apply a numbing cream before the procedure to ensure you’re comfortable during treatment. We recommend three treatments for optimal results.
After Care
To optimize healing and achieve the best possible results after your microneedling treatments—whether you’ve chosen Secret RF or SkinPen—please follow these comprehensive aftercare guidelines:
• Gentle Skincare: Use a mild, fragrance-free cleanser with lukewarm water for the first 24 hours. Avoid exfoliating products, retinol, or any harsh active ingredients that may irritate the treated areas.
• Moisturize & Soothe: Keep your skin well-hydrated using a gentle moisturizer recommended by your provider. If you experience redness or swelling, apply a cool compress or a soothing serum as directed.
• Sun Protection: Avoid direct sun exposure for at least 1–2 weeks post-treatment. When outdoors, wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, along with protective clothing or a hat to shield your skin.
• Makeup-Free Period: Refrain from applying makeup for at least 24 hours following your procedure to allow your skin to breathe and heal without interference.
